| I think I found my Peanut! I have been looking for awhile now, ever since I meet a cousin's yorkie named Chester. I found a lady in Arkansas who breeds only yorkie and they are raised in her home. She keeps her puppies until they are 3 months, she does ship, but she seem to be very careful. I am going to check her references tomorrow, she works for a vet' office. A woman at her office has one of her puppies and the vet is taking one for his daughter. Is there anything that I she ask her about, since I am not meeting her in person? I just have a good feeling about her. I have looked around my area but they seem to be out of my price range and these puppies are adorable. She has been very helpful online answered all my questions, not pressuring to send a deposit. So if the references check out It looks like I am going to have a Peanut ( thats the name my daughters and I seem to like) Vicki |

| Oh this is so exciting for you I would have a list of questions to ask her: 1.) How long has she been breeding? 2.) Do her dogs come with a health guarantee? 3.) All their shots they need are done? I am sure there are a ton more and other people can give you some more, but I wanted you to know I am happy for you. can't wait to see pics! PS I got Georgie from a breeder that worked at a Vet's office and he is and always has been perfectly healthy and a very social boy.

| Good Luck withing getting peanut,i hope it all goes well. As you wont be meeting her in person, i would ask her to email you copies of the pedigree, a contract, ask about any health problems from previous litters, details about the parents etc. Ask if she offers a health guarantee, and of course ask her to email you lots of pics!!! |

| Thanks so much for the great info. I think I will make a list of all my questions to ask. She has set some pictures and she told me just ask for more if I want them. I will try to post some pictures when I figure out how to Vicki |

| Make sure you get pictures of the puppy's parents. This will be a good indication of how the puppy will turn out. You need to make sure you are happy with the way the parents look before you commit to the puppy. Good luck and keep us posted! |

| I got pictures of the parents today, they are so pretty. Mom is a little camera shy, I also call one of the references today. From what I was told this lady takes real good care of parents and pups. She has been breeding yorkies for 12yrs. I am going to ask her for a reference from someone that had their puppy shipped so I can find out how thing went. I how August is on the cool side this year She said puppies have to be 3 months to leave and it all depends on size went shipping. She said these guys will be around 5 pounds. I have picture but I still cann't figure out how to post. |

| I think that she must be a good breeder if the vet is getting one from her too. A vet would know who to buy from and who not to buy from. He could probably answer questions about how she has taken care of her dogs. In my opinion, I think that you should go for it!!!

| Well I did it!! I spoke to the breeder of the puppies and she was GREAT! She answered all my questions perfectly. All her puppies are under 2lbs at 7wks, she even had only barking for me. So I am dropping a check in the mail tomorrow. |
