| Bad day!!! Today I just found out from my apartment landlord that since we just got new carpet I can't have Gracie here!!! I only live here during the school year and my lease is up in July so I am finding somewhere new to live in the fall so I can keep my baby with me!! But the worst thing of all is I have to leave her at my parents house for the next three weeks until school is out!! I don't know what I am going to do, my schedule revolves around her!!! I will be SO lost! I can't stand the fact that she will be gone! I will only see her on the weekends...she is going to get so big...and forget all about me!!

| Do you have a written lease? If so, your landlord cannot change the lease on you mid-stream. Even if you are on a month-to-month lease, they still have to give you a 30 day notice of a change in tenancy rules. Is there a free legal service for students where you can get advice. Check to see if this does apply. Lisa

| Yea on my lease it tells us that we have to pay a deposit and extra per month, and i just found out that our builing one of four is the only one that is NOT allowed dogs...which wasn't stated, but i feel like it would be too much to fight just for 3 weeks...I am definitley moving out when my lease is up.

| I don't mean this to sound awful, but, really, what are they going to do if you just keep her with you for the next three weeks? Especially if you really keep her with you...as in take her with you everywhere you go? Is that possible? Is there someone close by who could dog sit for you? I'm so sorry this happened....I would be so upset too.
