Took him to the groomer yesterday and they took off a little more than I thought they would...but heck! It will grow and I still think he is cute! He loves his new do...no more hair in his eyes. The first one is before the cut and the others are after. I did not realize Rocky the Cat was so much bigger than Oscar until Oscar got a haircut!!!

He is darling still. I felt the same way when I got Starsky's cut. It looks almost exactly like Oscars. I couldn't believe how skinny he was. But he is so happy and cool with the 90 degree heat we have been having.

I think he is proud of it! He has been so frisky! I don't know if you can see it in the first pic, but his right ear had really started to droop from the weight of the hair. Oscar has a cottony coat that is super thick - he just has tons of hair. Now he just has tons of short hair!

my tucker got his cut very short just like oscar and he LOVES it! and i like being able to see his face. i didn't realize his legs were so long

Oscar has "legs for days"! They are really long!!! I took him to the petstore after I picked him up from the groomer and everybody that saw him said "oooh...you just got a haircut!" Guess he looked pretty fresh!!!

Looks like Oscar has the same harness as Sadie. It's so much easier now w/o all the hair, right?! No more tangles in the armpits!

But my little turkey turned his from an adjustable harness to a fitted harness. He chewed the adjustable buckle apart!

So I had to fit it to him, cut it and sew it in place. Now he can't get any fatter altho it fits him a lot looser without all the hair. I think I will keep him close to this length all the time and just put sweaters on him when it is cool! It does not get too awfully cold here in Alabama and Rena at barkindogclothes made him the cutest black polar fleece Harley Davidson hoodie you have ever seen! He can be warm in that for sure! And when Oscar's coat was really long, the armpits was the ONLY place he EVER got mats...and they were bad. Short is the way to go...especially for boys!

Zeus will look sharp with his "nekkie do" as well! It is a boy thing for sure! Oscar sure loves his short cut!
