The more the merrier! You know what's so funny, they hate getting in the pool. Each summer I put them in near the steps and encourage them to come to me so they will learn how to get out if they accidentally fall in. Other than that, they don't go in unless they are playing ball and are more interested in the ball than the water, then oops, somebody falls in!

If your pool pops, I got this for Ginger at Kmart last year, it was under $10, but I don't remember exactly how much! This pic was last year with her short cut, she doesn't even look like this anymore.

I got it out a couple of days ago (sorry, no pics), and she had a blast! Bounced around in there forever...then ran immediately to her "hole". (She has a hole that was dug by one of her buddies, she loves to sit in it!)

Water + dirty hole in ground = messy, messy fun!

Needless to say, it became bath day!

I love this idea. I just told my husband that we need to get one of those hard plastic ones. The blow up one, at least until she popped it, would be better for us. We could deflate it if needed and also it would be cheaper to find out if she is really going to like it.

I love the pictures of all the dogs surrounding the big pool trying to decide how to get the ball out. Almost like "you go get it, no you go get it, well someone has to get it, not me." So cute.

It's not almost like "you go get it, no you go get it" that exactly what it is. After they run and get the ball, they bring it to the edge of the pool, drop it in and stand there and bark. If you don't come right away, they will bark until they see you are looking and then push the ball out into the water with their nose and bark some more. They seem to think it's a fun game but it gets very annoying and the ball has to disappear for a while. One thing you can say about yorkies, they are very persistent!

I get the hard plastic kiddy pools for the big dogs and for the little ones. My Cairn and Westie just love to spash around. The pups have not be introduced yet, but I can't wait to see how they react.

haha I would like to think mine would be amused... but I'm not too sure on that one! We have a big pool and they aren't all for it lol. I should try this summer though! Everyones pics are soooo adorable!!

Okay you got Roger jelouse we are just getting the pool set up for the summer so the chemicals are to off wack right now, But he is itching to get in. You know I can't show him the pictures he will be mad he isnt in the water then, Last year I bought this baby raft for him and I tied it to my raft so he would float aorund on it along with me, He has to be in the middle of everything going on ya know, LOL rena
