| Rescue Babies Here's the place to post pictures of your rescue Yorkie!! Also if you would like, you can tell us their story. We all know they are precious and so special, I'm sure we'd all love to see them!!! So, here's my boy, Tripp! He is about 2 now, we adopted him in October of 2005. He had been dropped off at the pound and was extremely matted, had BAD heartworms, a very scared and "I've been abused" temperment, and a collapsed trachea . But now he's a whole different dog. I love his personality, he is a total sweetie!!

| Hallie Ann: Hallie came to me via Simon's vet. They called and said they had a "small dog" that needed a foster home until she could find a permanent place. They said she was abused, had broken ribs and a broken leg, needed her teeth fixed, and was very scared of people. I agreed to foster her and went to pick her up. I didn't know she was a yorkie until I got there. Needless to say, about 15 minutes after getting her I decided she had to be mine and adopted her. She was 2 then and just turned 4 this past March I love her more everyday! Simon Samuel: I used to house-sit for a family that had a westie (RIP Snoball) and took her to the vet all the time. I was there one day and heard a woman yelling about how her puppy (that she had shipped to Alaska) wasn't perfect and she didn't want him at all. The door opened and out ran this feisty little puppy right up to me and jumped up my leg. I was snuggling with him and the woman threw down his papers and left!!!! I talked to the vet and it turned out this little puppy had luxating patellas (discovered very young, he was only 10 weeks) and a tumor in his belly. Because of the tumor they knew he had to have surgery but weren't sure what it was. After going through the necessary legal stuff, I decided to adopt him. He had his tumor removed the same time as neutering and it was benign. I named him Simon! |

| I love these stories too, God bless you guys for taking these special furballs in your home a giving them a new chance at life. Before i got Harley i use to go on petfinder.com for months trying to get a yorkie, but every dog i wanted was to far away, they wouldn't ship the pets, or i needed a fenced yard... i wish i could of adopted all of them and some of the sad stories of people abusing them, breading them almost to death, tore me up. I am just glad for people like you that would give a "troubled pet" another chance...
