| Welcome to my world, J. T. Riley Hi! If I did it right, there should be a picture of my new not-so-little Yorkie with my profile. I got Riley three weeks ago, and I swear he is a reincarnated super-star from somewhere. He is so well behaved and follows commands much better than a twelve week Yorkie should possibly be able to do. He came to me with a smushed in nose- really strange looking. After about 10 days, it just "popped out" and now looks like a real nose. I think he is going to be a big cutie and is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Could this be love? | Thanks for all the kind words about Riley! Riley goes in for his 12 week checkup Saturday. By my at-home guess (by weighing myself holding and then not holding him), he is about 4 pounds. His fur is very thick. He goes on the 15th for his first grooming appointment. I will have to post before and after pictures! The groomer seemed to think he should have already been in by now- as much for learning the process as for any physical need. I do still think he is extremely sweet and smart- paper trained, about four commands he will follow, several toys known and retrieved by name, etc. I cannot take credit for any of it- in fact, am looking for a good book or video on training so we can work on his tough one- STAY! Thanks for all the compliments- I do believe there is no such thing as a not-cute Yorkie! |

| Yep, it's love for sure. And, if there was something grander than love it would be that too!

| I did not know puppy love until I got Sully! (He's my 1st dog.) They change your life, don't they? Riley is adorable! Thanks for sharing the update. Always glad to hear how they're doing! Sully was 3.2lbs at 10 weeks, and is about 7-8 now (we don't know for sure b/c we dont' have a scale). He's our heart, as Riley is yours. And you think you love him now....just wait and he'll grow on you - though it seems impossible now! It's awesome.
