| Spaying - "Kyrah" is 6 months Hi everyone: My female "Kyrah" just turned 6 months. When is a good time to have her spayed? Is it true that Yorkies required special anesthesia... What is the cost more or less? Any information will help. Thanks Elizabeth |

| Oh what a cute picture!!!! We are going to need lots more!!!! I would ask your Vet, 6 months is ok for some, but some vets wait for the 8th month. They can also look at her teeth, if she has baby teeth that need to be pulled, it's best to do it at the same time. As far as cost, every Vet is different. Our Vet is a little high, but they are also open 24/7. Happy 6 Months Kyrah

| Just wanted to say that your baby is adorable. I don't have answers for the spaying I have been pushing off getting Georgie neutered, his Momma (me) is a sissy and I am worried about the process (which I know I shouldn't be). Good luck with everything, and welcome to YT

| I like to wait till their adult teeth come in as that's when they can do the spay or neuter and remove any baby teeth that are retained. I am sure prices vary from vet to vet or town to town, so you might just check that out with a few vets. make sure they are good vets... |
