| I need help with Babe Girl.... Hello all fellow YT members I need some help with Babe Girl, she's I got her on the 17th of this month and she's picked up her drinking and eating but it's only the meat she ate. She's not eating her dry food she will nibble bits and pieces but will never finish the whole tray. I leave it out for her while I am @ work and that is an 8 hour time frame. I would think when I got back it would be gone, but it isn't. Is their anything I need to do? or what do you guys recommend me do? Oh do they have to have dry foods? or could they eat just meats?.. Thanks in advance for any help I can get. Sincerely, BaBe Girl * Mommy

| I am sorry your baby girl isn't eating. Here are a couple of things that I have learned as a Yorkie Mom: 1.) They don't eat as much as bigger dogs so what we think they should eat is not always the case. 2.) There have many many times that I have to hand feed George, to make sure he gets enough food. 3.) I went through about 5 different foods and finally found one he like it's called California Natural. I mix it with boiled chicken and a gravy made by The Honest Kitchen. I am sure her appetite will pick up just watch her because little one tend to have hypoglycemic attacks. Good luck with your baby.

| Thank you for that advice. I am feeding her the Eukanuba puppy chiot dry food from what the breeder had her on. She eats her Eukanuba puppy chiot chunky beef n gravy meat though. Maybe I am expecting her to eat more than what I see her eat forgetting that she is a much smaller breed lol. Quote:
