LOve the name, Buddy! Congratulations on your new addition. As with all training, I think it all just takes time snd consistency and persistence. Don't give in unless you decide to change the rules and let him sleep with you or put him a crate at night or something. It may take a few weeks but he will eventually adjust ans stop crying.

YEA the Kid Sister doll in that picture does look a lil sunburned!!! i found those pictures on Ebay. Ebay had Kid Sister dolls that were brunettes with green eyes AND some were blondes with blue eyes. when i was little i didn't even know they made Kid Sister with different hair and eye color, i only remebered them being blonde. :confused:

Cielo...you forgot: The Snorks, the Smurfs, Lady Lovelylocks, Cherry Mary Muffin, Pound Puppies, Full House, ShirtTails..hahaha...I still have a Rainbow Bright suitcase that is filled with all my Barbies....it is at my Nana's house... I'll try to remember to take a pic and post it next time I go over there.....My husband (he's 23) and I LOVE The Princess Bride so much, "Wesley" was like the first name on our babynames.com list...no lie!!! (Not that we are pregnant or have any kids..at least 6 more years 'til that...but, I am a planner!) :thumbup:

Buddy is so darling and sounds as if he's liking his new home! One thing I did when I got my Maddie, the first night she cried and cried in her crate. I would get up and hold her and walk around with her just like I used to do with my human babies. Anyway, a couple of sleepless nights and I put her crate away from the bedroom and put a radio nearby for her. The noise from the radio must have soothed her, so she didn't make so much as a whimper. I kept up the radio thing for a couple of weeks and she got used to sleeping and didn't need it anymore. Best wishes to you and your little Buddy!

:) 3 weeks further on and Buddy sleeps like a baby every night.... but... not in the kitchen.. on his beanbag in our bedroom! Couldnt leave him crying longer than the 2 nights that we tried it. He is still as cuddly as ever and always either under my feet (i'm now getting used to checking where im about to put my foot everytime i move!) or on my lap or just snuggled up close to one of the kids somewhere, a real soft baby! lol This was proved at the vets, he yelped when he had his injection, cried and howled when he had his nails cut anyone outside would have thought the poor vet was killing him, BUT didnt make a sound when his temperature was taken (and you all know how they do THAT!!! :eek: ) weird.... lol

You sucker...Just kidding :D 2 nights and that new baby had you wrapped around it's liitle paw paw:) I couldn't crate mine either (although I know it's beneficial and good :D )but I just could never do it. When they cry, I cave :rolleyes:
