| I would not recommend Petco or Petsmart. I have heard a lot of horror stories. Make sure Ollie is completely vaccinated. Ask your freinds or your vet for a referal to a good groomer.

| I personally use PETsMART. But I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess, from what others have been saying on here. My groomer is so patient with Tigger and loves and dotes on him EVERY time we come in. When he comes out, he's so happy to see me and he looks great. It's all about personal preferance. I have developed a good friendship with Tricia(my groomer) and recommend her to others with small pups. I , also, work for PETsMART. BUT that has NOTHING to do with my preferance. I can honestly say this because I work two different positions there and as a cashier I get to know which groomers to go to. I'm very skeptical and I have to be honest, a lot of the groomers do not seem very happy. I chose Tricia (Patricia) because she always seems really happy and is the most gentle and patient. I wouldn't really recommend PETsMART grooming because of the fact that so many of the groomers seem so unhappy. I think I just got lucky. I don't trust anyone else with him but her. Do some research and find someone you truely would trust your baby being with. Best of Luck

| petsmart, petco I would not go to petco or petsmart. I took my bunny to petsmart for her 1st hair cut and they left long spots here and there, like they didnt even try to cut it there or missed it. The 2nd time was at petco, they MESSED her hair up. One side of her face was shorter then the other. They shaved her, when I told them to take a half inch off and shave around the butt area.. and what PI$T me off was, they lady told me to find a fiddrent hair cut. They yorkie cut was not right one my dog.... HELLO she is a YORKIE!! Needless to say, I didnt pay for the hair cut after I talked to her Boss and showed him what she did to my dogs hair. I took her home and fixed it my self, well what I could... Made me soo mad!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Since he's SO little and young...you may want to just pop in on a few groomers in your area and see how they operate first before making an appointment....Also - for the little hair he has since he is a puppy...you may want to try to do this yourself.... I'm not a fan of Petco or petsmart either...too many of the groomers I've seen are very young and spend more time talking to each other rather than paying attention to what their doing. |
