Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Jack's home! Thanks to all your good thoughts, Jack is home and on the road to recovery. He looks a little disheveled as you can imagine, and he's still coming down from a morphine high, but he's focusing on me and even walking! Vet said his main concern was he hadn't eaten, but he was downright ravenous when I fed him some canned food off my finger. And MIL is feeding him water out of a straw now! He moans softly much of the time, but I'm optimistic for the first time since I took him in. I think he's gonna make it. Again, thanks to every single one of you who offered encouragement. A lot of you made us out to be some kind of saints, but I think this is a YT success story. I got a lot of encouragement from a lot of people to do the right thing. Kristy especially was a great sounding board when I was at wit's end. We should all be proud. Here's pics. No making fun of his shaved butt!

| One good thing about it... He can't pee on Eddie while the cast is on... I'm glad all went well and he's back home safe and sound!

| Welcome Home Jack I just love that third picture, with those big beautiful eyes open as if to say "Gosh what happened while I was asleep" Eddie must have wondered where he went. Some recovery time but pretty much a very happy ending to a very tragic story.

| OKay that last picture is the sadest picture I have ever seen. BUt Im so glad Jack is home and doing better. His poor little booty looks cold without the hair.
