| So what do ya think about her? Hello all, I am new here and am thinking about getting my first yorkie. I found this little angle in Felicity, Ohio. I think she is cute, But I dont know what to look for when going to check her out. Is she too hairy? The breeder said she has a bunch of hair. Is that a bad thing? Also she is 12 weeks and weighs 2lbs.6oz. Her parents are 4lbs and 7lbs. I am including pics so you can see what I have seen so far. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and please be honest if you see something I need to know about. thanks-tara |

| She is a cutie. My concern would be her ears. Shouldn't they be up? Also sometimes a thick coat can be cottony. I have 2 females with cottony coats and I keep them in puppy cuts all the time. They look really cute that way. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | She looks sweet! Her nose will be a little longer and you're really going to have to work to get her ears to stand up...unless of course, you don't want her ears to stand up. Are you eventually going to breed her?

| Thanks guys for the input and making me feel so welcome. To answere some of your questions...We are gonna pick her up a week from tomorrow(Thursday). Her breeder said that some days one ear will be standing up and the other its down.I am thinking her ears will brobably do better if they were trimmed. Any thoughts? I also will ask the vet about taping them if they dont stand up within a reasonable amount of time. She also said that both parents have silky coats, so I hope her's isn't very wooly. Anyways the parents are on the property so I will get to see them as well. I am soooo excited to get her, I have already been buying stuff. Its been a year since I began my search and I think I finally found her. Pray for me and keep your fingers crossed that all goes well!-Tara Oh and i dont kow if I want to breed her or not. I really dont know what i am doing when it comes to breeding and i don't want to jeopardize her health by making a mistake. I just want to love on her for now!!!! |
