| Made Nelly a dress Well, I think I might have too much time on my hands. I always see your babies with such beautiful clothing on, I live in Medicine Hat, AB and we do not have a pet store that carries any nice things like what your puppies wear. They have jackets and sweaters but no nice little dresses or anything, if I want a dress for her I need to go to Calgary which is 3 hours away and we only go in there for a summer trip. SO, I decided to try and make one out of my daughters dress. It is not the prettiest color or look or anything but I just wanted to see if I could do it. Don't laugh because it is not that pretty and as you can see she is not to fond of it herself. |

| To be honest, I do not know where the name came from because I orinally moved here from Newfoundland 11 years ago for my husband's job. Would move back home today if there were jobs back there. We visit almost every year and the kids love it. My oldest son said he wants to live back there when he grows up and said that he is going to marry a woman from there but he is still only 10 so he has a nice little wait yet. And thanks for the compliment on the dress. I will be purchasing some material and making some more, I will keep you posted on how it goes, need a sewing machine by hand takes to long. |

| Very nice. I also have time on my hands and was thinking of doing the same thing.Im not brave enough to try it by hand but im trying to get my hands on a sowing machine. Then what does it hurt to give it a try? Well if you want to start out from just fabric then there are some websites that have free patterns for dresses and vests.Looks pretty easy. Good luck. Dont give up! |

| Great job on your first attempt at dress making. I am not that talented yet...depend on the great folks on this site that make and sell clothes for most of Jolene's attire. She is certainly precious.
