I'd be happy to send you one of my avatars with the .psd format so you can see exactly what I did! It may help. Oh, and try right clicking on your text layes in the layer window and playing around with the different "layer options". Those are fun! Especially for texts!

Thanks for the advice and offer! I was able to open the lily gif in imageready and see how you put it together. I'll play around with 'layer options.' I'm on a mac and can't right click, but I'm sure there's a window option I can select.

I've gotta take it slow or my brain threatens to explode!
