| Miss Fidgety Freya CANNOT get her to stay still. She sees the camera, is wise to it, won't look at it. And with the flash...that's a no no. I had to make weird noises lol. |

| Oh...and after three months I'm starting to get to know this puppy lol. She has a mind of her own! If she doesn't want me kissing her, she turns her head away. Oh, poo. Lol. She's highly motivated to kiss me if I've been eating lol. She's very particular about where she sleeps when we sleep; for some reason she won't stay on my chest for long, prefers behind my ear lol. If she doesn't want her food, it doesn't matter HOW long we sit on the floor! There's no making her do what she doesn't want to do. That's a hard lesson to learn. And she's ODD when I'm playing my Xbox One. I put her in my lap so I can stroke her while I'm playing, but she doesn't wanna stay there. So she'll go to one side of me, lie down a bit, then get up and paw at my leg and want me to lift my arms up so she can travel over me to get to the OTHER side of me lol. |

| My guy sports a puppy cut year round, low maintenance for me but, his head and face is full. His top knot is a pony tail. This photo of Miss Freya is perfect of her, she has nice big ears, I love big ears, you can make them look smaller by growing the hair longer on her ears.

I liked to keep Katy in a medium long cut, but she sported a puppy cut more than once. The puppy is easy-peasy by comparison (to the longer cut). There are also a TON of variations to the puppy cut. For example, puppy cut the body and legs, leave the facial hair and beard long or longer. Any where the hair is cut long/longer, you'll want to spritz and groom every day. I like longer facial hair, and especially prefer the hair around the eyes be longer so that (a) I can tie the brow hair into a top knot up and use a bow and (b) the nose hair is long enough that it won't sprout into her eyes. At least from my experience, some yorkies look really cute with a short beard, while others appear more natural with a longer beard. Over 15 years, can assure you Katy had some great cuts and some cuts I didn't like at all. She was probably seven or eight when a groom mistakenly cut her brow. It just never seemed grew out properly after that. (So, while I was upset about it at the time, I was more and more upset over time.) Lil Dutch is scheduled for her first groom next week. I know what I want the groomer to do, but I'm going to find and print a photo from the internet to give to him and say--"This way!" | |

| My little cotton coated Gus looks (and feels) best when I keep him in a puppy cut...otherwise he is the king of mats! ( have kept other male dogs with longer bears, but Gus looks adorable with a short muzzle, just like a puppy. When we are out, everyone thinks that he is a puppy (his coat is still quite black), and they are surprised when I tell them that he is two and a half. There are a million variations, as others have said. I groom my own, and if you google yorkie puppy cut pictures, you can find many versions.
