| Hi, I'm Sylvie Hi, I'm Sylvie, rescued this past weekend. Well actually, some nice lady rescued me 2 weekends ago. No one knows exactly what I am, the vet says Yorkshire Terrier Mix, but I think I have some silkie in me. I was found covered in dirt and fleas, and a very nice lady took me in and gave me a GREAT bath. Then my new Mom and Dad took me this past Thursday. I went to the vet on Friday and got checked out and I'm one lucky 2 year old. No one knows how long I was running free, but I'd gotten a hair cut, and it hasn't grown too much. Anyway, my Mom and I are going to be checking these pages for tips, like keeping my nethers groomed. Any suggestions? |

| Thanks! Don't worry, she will. She needs help with the kinds of food to feed me. Right now I'm eating Royal Canin Rx Venison mixed with Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier food. The Rx food was for my predecessor, Earl (Rat Terrier, Jack Russell mix), who passed away the week before I showed up -- he had anal gland issues and a nasal sarcoma. My Mom says I saved her. Being spayed and housebroken was a plus. Now she has to tackle the grooming stuff, and getting me used to a crate when they're away. heh heh, I'm not liking the crate at all. |

| Hi Sylvie, Thanks for writing us and letting us know about all the good things that have happened to you and your new home. I am a little concerned though about your eating the prescription food, sweetie. It was meant for a serious health condition which you do not have and it may do you harm to keep eating it. Your mom can call the vet to be sure as I sure am no expert but it sounds right to me that you should not be eating it. Welcome to you and your mom to YT. And all the best to you all.

| Oh, Sylvie, you're just TOO cute! Such a precious little baby! Please share lots more about yourself and get mommy to take many more pics, 'kay? We're so glad you're rescued!

| Thanks for writing me back sweetie as you saw my concern for you. I am glad the vet said it was ok for you to eat that food. Hope things get better for you. I know about itching as I have a problem with it too and that is the pits
