I shave Dallas and Beaumont nekkid every summer. Between the burs and those oak dangly things that get caught in their coats, and the heat it's just the smart thing to do here in TX. Plus with short coats..... we go to Barton Springs for a swim when it gets crazy hot. Short coats are smart and cute for TX summer!

He would look adorable bald...a beautiful dog! We get Dinky's hair cut very short and enjoy watching it grow back. He is not AS cute after the grooming. At about 6-8 weeks after, he reaches, what we call "maximum cuteness." Then at about 10-12 weeks, it's time again. We keep it shorter in the summer and longer in the winter.

I just ordered a 1 1/4" comb attachment for my clippers and will try this next time. Anyone use when of these? I want to keep it about this length and figure if I can do it with the clippers, it will not take as long and should be more even. I'm really liking the short cut now that I'm getting used to it.
