| new Yorkie pup soon :) new to forum & question about colouring hi all, We have a new Yorkie pup soon arriving in our family he's now 1 month old and we are bringing him home at the end of October I 'm just as exited as my 5 year old son! We visit him a couple of times a week. We are adopting him from a friend of ours not a kennel or breeder. He's not got any official papers etc to say he's a 'pedigree' or 'lof' as they say here in France but we don't care about that. He's going to be a family pet, and we chose him for that reason only. That said, I would really like to have an idea of what colour he may be when he's older. We chose him because he isn't the traditional colouring unlike his 3 sisters who are all the typical black and tan. his dad is typical colouring and his mum is completely cream, both Yorkshire's. Here are some pics of 'Woofy' and his parents Has anyone had a pup with similar colouring? what colour are they now? Will be asking advice soon before his 1st week in his new home. I have never had a dog before ( my wife had several when she was growing up) so I'm the real newbie. Thanks Pol |

| My Blazer was a brown boy at birth, too. He was in a litter of 6- three were black, three were brown. They've all ended up very light colored- my Blazer is "blonde." He has varying shades of blonde, from platinum on the top of his head to a rich honey on his ears and legs, and a lovely in between shade on the rest of his body (he also has a blaze of white on his chest and all four of his paws have some white.) |
