Today was Leo's fourth day at the dog park. This time I brought Zoey along, but she doesn't care for other dogs, so she stayed next to me most of the time. Leo ran around and played with a pug, and a schnauzer. I've noticed that the people on the large dog side tend to gossip and talk A LOT. Some lady bluntly said to me over the fence "look at your wanna be dogs" I wanted to be a smartmouth and say "Oh, thank you, they are actually descendants from cats" but I just ignored her.

They are so cute. Better off to ignore stupid ppl. Our yorkies are precious babies.

It's better to ignore people like that. Your fur babies are both cuties, it looks like they had fun.

I feel bad for people that try to bring others down due to their own insecurities. How sad for that lady. She must really live a sad existence...

It's terrible what some people think of our little dogs! Calling them "rats", "want to be dogs", (like you said), they are just too stubborn to realize how amazing our little "rats" can be. They also have never experienced their own "rat" to realize they can do just as much as those big dogs can plus more. People like that you have to ignore.

Your babies did look like they had fun! Hopefully they ignored those nasty people.

The funny thing is she had a JRT on the large dog side...so she was calling my terriers wanna be dogs, whenever she had a terrier, too. hehe.
