He is so cute!!! He looks so proud to be in his bag. I bet he hops in when you put it on the floor. Love the color too.

I got it at a local dog "boutique" but you can get them online too. I was impressed that their prices were similar to what I'd pay online too. We have a few of these types of stores around here and all of the others drastically overcharge. Normally I browse there and then go online (shh!) but I didn't feel like I overpaid for this! I really like it. It's by New York Dog and it also comes in pink. (They kept trying to sell me the pink one, people already think he is a girl because he is a Yorkie and a pink bag won't help.) The only thing is it does not zip all the way. I haven't figure out a way to keep him from trying to get out. Most of the time he tucks his head in and just sticks his nose out, but at one store he was trying to climg out. It has a leash clip, but I had to keep shoving treats inside to keep him in there. For a few minutes I thought he was "hiding" and really he was trying to chew through the leash clip! He's just so nosy and wants to see everything. I was paying at one store and he just popped his little head out and surprised the cashier. Luckily she thought he was a cutie and told me about her 2 at home :-)

Same as a crate. Leave it open on the floor and put treats in it. Loki knows "in" and "out" so I just pointed to the bag and said "Loki, IN" and he hopped in. I gave him a treat. I said "Loki OUT" and he hopped out. Now he randomly hops in and stares at me like, "OK I'm IN and yesterday you gave me a treat for this." When I was a at store one time, a lady had a little 4lb Yorkie girl who kept hopping in all of the carriers. We were laughing so hard at her. Her mom said she loves them because it means she gets to go somewhere and she doesn't want to be left behind! Really, the hard part is getting them to not climb/jump out when they get all excited. Have treats ready!

You can carry this like a purse so they are kind of cuddled up next to you and feel secure. If you have a hard time with the purse ones, there are pouch kinds too. There are also slings. Good luck!
