| Introducing Lillyana She is my family's first furbaby. She's 8 weeks old, so loveable and snuggly. Super playful and very happy. We are thrilled she's a part of our family. We got her Thursday and things have been a whirlwind. The first car ride was hard, she whined all the way home. But bonded with me and my daughters quickly. She slept all night that night too. The next day she was rambunctious and excited, peed on her pad about 85% of the time but we were finding poop all over the living room she also did not sleep that night at all and did a lot of whimpering. I'm guessing that's when she finally realized she was separated from her litter mates. Saturday went well, it seemed like my daughters and I were getting her rhythm, we did take her on a trip to a petstore but she was sleep in a little bag carrier right under my arm. I have a 7 and 4 year old and they were both very diligent about taking her to her pad after playing and cleaning the accidents, even leaving her in the crate when she went in there on her own. Sunday was hard though she was really lethargic and sleepy all day but finally perked up towards the evening after a lot of karo water and nutri-cal. The breeder told me when I picked her up that nutri-cal wasn't working on this litter and it really didn't do anything to perk her up from my experience either. I was going to take her to the vet, even called them and asked for what to look for. They said if shes like that for 24 hours bring her in. Turned out to be about 10 and she was chasing us around the house right before bed time. Today, we visited my job for a little bit and she had a little professional photoshoot for Instagram. She's already famous! I work at Origami Owl and the girls in my office had a blast just watching her play around the room for a half an hour. She's been a light in my life even through the sleepless nights. I've been lurking for a while and this is our first official introduction. I hope to be a more active poster as I'm just crazy about her and only other crazy yorkie parents would get that I'm sure! |

| Hi and welcome! She's adorable. You really shouldn't have her out anywhere until she's had all her shots, she's very young. Most breeders keep them with mom until 12 weeks.

| That is such an adorable picture!! I am so jealous I wish we had done that for my little lilah charm. I was glad to hear your baby was kept off the floor for the pet store visit as but as the previous poster noted probably best that you keep this little lady less exposed while she goes through her vaccine series especially as she went home earlier than is usually recommended- I can see you and your little girls adore this babe and the heartbreak would be tragic if she picked up anything welcome to yorkie talk and oh my goodness keep posting those adorable pictures!

| Lillyana is such a precious baby girl, and I love your photo of her. You are beginning a lifetime of precious moments with her, and your life will never be the same again. Enjoy every moment with her.

| Welcome to YorkieTalk! She is a cutie I agree that you should probably keep her home until she has all of her shots. It's dangerous to be taking her out when she has not been vaccinated.
