Ohmygoodness, what FANTASTIC and CUTE photos of your babies!! The first photo had me cracking up and then feeling bad for laughing at the poor sweetie, haha. It's just too cute though. And the 2nd shot - I love when owners capture their dog in mid run. Tongue out and one shoe missing, haha. You're a great photog with a nice camera and adorable furkids!! : )

Aww, thanks. Don't let Jillie fool you. She CHOSE to be out there with her head in the snow! Fortunately, she was pretty much snow-free by the time she sprinted back to me.

I so wish I could get pictures like this! They are great!

Thanks, it helps to have a good DSLR camera so you can shoot at a faster shutter speed (or sports setting) and take multiple pictures. I took about 140 pictures this morning and got about 5 I was happy with. If you like action shots, stand 20-30 feet away from your dog and call him/her to you. Then snap, snap, snap while it's running.

That's exactly how I got this today.

Isn't every day a snow day in Alaska??

Gorgeous shots as always. Eddie is so handsome and adorable. He knows he is totally GQ cover boy in the snow.

Jillie cracks me up. My boys do the same thing, end up with a snow mask. They don't seem to mind a bit and keep digging with their noses.

Speaking of noses, we were walking near our police station and the boys dragged me to something. It was a nose work tin that I am guessing was left behind by the police dogs who often train at the county complex (which we have to be careful of because we once encountered one of their GSDs working off leash -- usually they put up warning signs). We may get to nose work classes some day.

You should do it! I don't even care about titles and competition, it's just so much playing on walks and in Petco, etc. I would love to know what the GSDs were sniffing! Could have been drugs or blood or accellerants! Must have been interesting for your dogs to find it.
