villette's (red98vett) little girl Cherie was my inspiration for growing Jada's topknot long enough for a braid.

I've tried to grow out between his eyes and also to grow out his visor. Given up on both. I'm so used to the visor, he would look funny without it. I have finally grown out the bridge of his nose that a groomer shaved and I continued to clip short for over a year. I'm very worried about hair irritating his eyes because his dam had a cherry eye and it looked horrible!
Villette's Cherie may have inspired your braid, but Jada's braid inspired my 1st attempt with Huey!
Pics are today's braid. Not nearly as long as Jada's!

WOW! Huey is gorgeous! His hair is so shiny. I know coat type has more to do with shine than products, but what do you use? I've been growing the hair between her eyes for three months and it's not grown much so I'm going to trim it. I can't stand to think it's hurting her eyes.

Love Jada's braid. It's so long. I've been doing a braid on Deuce for a few months. It's really easy to do daily rather than the topknot several times a day. Need to get a pic of this look on here.

I would love to see a pic of Deuce and his braid. It really is so much easier than a topknot.

You guys rock! I would never have thought to try a braid. Gracie's hair is not that long yet, but now I am inspired! Her eyes are so cute that I love to see them, but she is not yet convinced about the topknot.

Wow that is amazing it's so long! I've braided our Yorkies hair but it is never been that long on their head.

Thanks! I use Therapet Fresh Scent shampoo and human Pantene conditioner on his body; but on the top of his head, his ears and his mustache, for the last several months, I have been using Wen pomegranate cleansing conditioner. I feel like that is easier on his eyes than the shampoo was. Before I started using Wen, I used the shampoo and conditioner all over. I am very lucky, though, with his hair. He has very silky, shiny, non-tangling hair even with me not doing a whole lot to it

I took a few pics of the braided topknot. Unfortunately by the end of the day before his dinner it is a real mess but easy to clean up. I probably should groom him before he eats then just wash his face. He has alot of hair on his head.

Jada's braid is looking beautiful! I will never forget the photo you shared of when her topknot hair reached her little rear end (it was right after a bath and you were combing it). She can really grow a topknot. Such a darling girl.

Love Huey and Deuce's braids too.
