| Gunner is 4.5 months old already. Where does the time go? Love this little guy. Never thought I could love a dog this much again. He is my best buddy already. Also, I have a DSLR, does anyone have any tips on how to take photos? I used my phone with this one, he is so darned fast, never holds still. I would love to get some good pics of him.

| What a cutie! I don't have any advice for you on the pictures... I still can't get my 5 year old to sit still long enough to get a good picture of him

| Cook up some chicken breast and bribe him for the photo. That's what I do with Deuce. Although as he's gotten older he's much more tolerant of my camera.

| Gunner is such a handsome boy. It's so cool to see him grow up here. What was he, maybe 6 weeks when you posted the first photo from his breeder? I know what you mean about photographing them. Cookie is so fast and thus pretty hard to get a good pic of too.

I also use treats, but he is so busy trying to get the treat that he won't sit still. And, I think he was 4 weeks in his first photo?

| I have all cannon equipment and this forum is amazing http://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php , my name on their is sunnydayz1 if you want to search and look at my photos. I have not posted there in a while, but it really helped me when I was getting started. I have the cannon 5 D mark I and the mark II, as well as the 7D, plus numerous different lens. I started as a hobbiest but it has grown :-) I found setting continuos shooting works well depending on your shutter speed, could be worth a try. Mine are more professional full frame cameras, except the 7d, so I'm more familiar with the settings on them, but there are many people on that forum that se the same type of camera you use :-) you should be able to find the info you are looking for there, due to the whole forum being dedicated to all types of canon users :-) |

Gunner needs a bath today, so I will make sure to get the camera out before I start. I also need practice at the low light shots, I don't care what I do they all turn out crappy. Could be my lens, or me? I'm not sure. Oh, I couldn't see your photo till I sign up for the sight, I will do that after his bath.

| He was! My husband was holding him up while I tried to get a photo. He never, never holds still for anything. Unless he is sleeping.
