| Grooming day.... I had to take a picture right after I groom Ricky because as soon as I let him off the grooming table, he runs to the couch to mess up his new hairdo. Within 10 minutes his top knot will be crooked...he will have popped a hair clip out and his bangs will be in his face...and he will look like a little wild man. Nobody would believe that he looks this good all cleaned up if I didn't have the pictures to prove it!! Not too shabby for being a rescue dog who was living in the streets!! |

| Awww, that's a cute photo. One of mine does the same thing too after grooming.

| Ricky is a beauty! Do you have a "before" picture of him from just after the rescue? BTW, my two also need to rearrange their hair after grooming.

| I don't have the pictures from when the rescue found him. Thinking back, I should have ask her to send me the pic of when they got him. She did show me them...I just didn't get a copy. He was running around wild last November for about a month until the rescue could trap him. When they caught him, he weighed 2.2 lbs. In the pics below, he was 2.8 lbs and now he is a little over 4 lbs...so he's gained a lot of weight back He had the rickets when we first got him from being malnourished. That has went away as well!! Ricky is like a totally different dog now, in so many different ways. I am super blessed to have gotten him. What a great find on Petfinder!! Here are the pics of him on Petfinder from last May..... These aren't the pics when he was found...but these are pics the rescue took of him about 6 months after he was found to get him adopted out!! He has the cutest little face, but it's sort of hard to tell how bad of shape he was still in from his little rendez-vous!! Last edited by theporkieyorkie; 10-28-2013 at 02:45 PM. |
