Thanks everyone. My neice named her Prissy. Thats how I ended up with her. My sister got her for my neice and this didnt work out. So I have her now. She bought her when she was only 6 weeks old. This dog almost died. It wasnt until we later did internet research on the breed that we learned how terrible this was for the puppy. I believe it said 12 is when you should get them. Any ways there were alot of blood sugar issues at first but she's a healthy 13 weeks and 2.6 pounds now. I have a recent pic but had trouble uploading it. Anyways I dont know how she has done so well considering what happened. We have never had anything but hounds until her and we had no idea that we were doing wrong when my sister got her. I also feel more that it was the breeders fault for not keeping Prissy with her mom til 12 weeks. I've been under the advice of the vet and am learning as I go. I love this baby dog. I want to learn how to give her the best care on this forum.

shes beautiful and welcome to you both. im glad she survived thats awfully young for the breeder to release her to the new home. so glad it turned out ok and she belongs to you now. you should find all the info you need on the threads here.

Thank you so much. She is the first yorkie I have been around. Now I love Yorkies. I think she loves me too. This forum was a great idea. Ive browsed through and learned quite a bit.
