| My First Haircut OK, while this is not Gizmo's first haircut, it is the fist time I have ever done it myself. The first is his before picture, then the next two are of him the first night I actually cut his hair, and the last is of him after I decided to shave down his ears tonight. I know I am partial, but isn't he just so handsome!

| Thank you both very much. I have wanted to start grooming his hair myself for a while, so I asked my husband for all of the grooming stuff for Christmas. I just had this picture in my mind of the kids who used to get teased at school because their mothers cut their hair to save some money.....and I just knew that I was going to mess his hair up and then my other pup would make fun of him. Now you know that YT is the only place you can admit something like that and not be thrown into the looney bin!

| Great job . I do the cutting of my dogs, most of the time. But I do take them to the groomers so of the time. When you have 3 dogs the cost can go up to 150$ and dont think that I can pay all the time. If you mind my asking is he a yorkie mixed? He looks like he has Lhasa Apso in him.

| You did a great job! I'm always too scared to cut Sully's hair - I'm sure I'd royally botch it up.

| No, he's actually a Japanese Chin / Poodle mix.........no Yorkie in him, I only posted because he has a Yorkie sister. I plan on breeding Yorkies one day and he will probably be the only dog that I have that isn't a Yorkie.......so I am sure one day he will THINK he is an oversized Yorkie.
