It looks comfy. I hate to be nosey but how big is your yorkie? Mine is a tall one, 11 inches and 4.5 pounds. I am wondering if he would be too big for a sling carrier.

Well, I just "tried" to measure him....around 17" long and 11" tall (at his head) 7 1/2 lbs. I just copied the measurements on the Fundle website for a medium dog and sewed my own carrier. I like it because it is mesh on both sides and we live in Fl....HOT!

In my next life, I plan to be talented.....and live by the ocean. It looks great. I didn't measure from Barney's head. I measured from his spine to the floor. But I may try to purchase one online. He will probably need a medium. It sounds like he may be taller than yours. You did a great job.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Thanks for telling me about the iron on adhesive to hold the layers together...I hadn't thought of that! I am crocheting her a harness it's really cute and small...so when I am finished I will go to Joanne's and get the things I need. Thanks again!!! |

Cool! Be careful though, I've crochet several and they always stretch. I ended up using some small nylon cord I got at Hobby Lobby. I just tried to find it on their website but I couldn't. It was in the yarn section on a small spool....
