Buddy is such a weirdo. xD He doesnt like the grass too much, I thought it was because it was too long or something. But today he ran into the grass that was taller than him. Still not doing too well on potty training. He only really goes outside in the morning because I dont let him touch the ground until I carry him outside. |
It has been awhile since I have updated Buddy's Journal!! Buddy is doing WONDERFUL. <3 He still is having some accidents, but I can't blame him, hes only 16 weeks old. Every morning he goes potty outside, because he sleeps with me and I don't let him touch the ground until we go outside. He seems very attached to me. He hates being alone at all, even if he gets closed in a room, he starts barking and whining. But even if I leave him in my room with my 12 year old sister for a minute, he still barks even though she is right in there with him. If someone is playing with him, and I walk by, he runs to me and forgets about who he was playing with. xD I do have some more pictures to share. I am trying to compile pics together and figuring out which date they were taken, and labeling them with his age. So that will be fun to look back on when hes grown. Buddy currently weighs 2.8 pounds, and he only weighed 2.2 when we brought him home! This upcoming Thursday Buddy will get his last set of shots, then we will be getting his license and signing up for the low cost ($30) spay/neuter event held by the local no kill animal shelter. :) Although we wont have him altered until at least 5 mos old. He did meet my grandma's boxer last weekend. She hated yorkies, because my aunt has a yorkie that was not properly trained and it is an ankle biter. Well Buddy had only ever met DeeOhjee, who is a fairly calm dog. But my grandma brought her boxer in, the boxer is a very sweet dog, but is very hyper. So when he first met her, he was a bit nippy out of fear. The first thing I heard my grandma say less than 1 minute in the door is "Thats exactly what your aunts dog did" -___- I was POd. He was afraid, her dog is literally 40 times the size of Buddy. A few hours later, he was not biting any more, but still a bit afraid. Finally my mom told her that Buddy had only ever been around DeeOhJee and he was afraid. Eventually she seemed to understand and almost acted like she liked Buddy and sat on the couch with him in her lap. http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/...ps39f0d877.jpg http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/...psae4b8f67.jpg http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/...ps058c7a5d.jpg http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/...ps43c62e53.jpg And lastly, here is him today. :) http://i1254.photobucket.com/albums/...ps510dc6fd.jpg |
Oh what beautiful pictures. You are certainly very smart for your age, and are doing a Great job with Buddy. I love reading Buddy's Journal. He's a little doll! :D |
What adorable pictures and so is Buddy. I especially like the one with him and his big brother on the doggie bed. |
Buddy is adorable and so is DeeOhJee:) I am so glad Buddy is doing so well:) |
Buddy seems to be doing fine and getting cuter as he grows! |
He.is a cutie |
Wow, he is seriously SO cute. He has got one of the cutest faces I've ever seen... just love him! |
He refuses to go on walks unless DeeOhJee comes along. If it is just me and him, he stands there and stares at me. But bringing DeeOhJee along, he will either follow him or walk right beside him. I do try to keep some distance between the two of them just to make sure nobody will get stepped on. |
Georgie never liked taking walks without our Boxer Coco. I was glad though I felt more comfortable with her there in case someone has their dog off the leash I knew Coco would protect Georgie. I am sure DeeOhJee would too. |
Planning on meeting up with a friend of mine some time, she has a yorkie and I'm going to bring Buddy so they can play. I really want to get him around strange dogs and people so that he is friendly towards strangers when he's older. Hopefully tomorrow we can meet up, I hope to take pictures too! lol |
So cute! |
He is Improving on potty training, but still having accidents here and there. I'd say about 75% of the time he potties outside. He finally understands that going inside = bad and going outside= good. Last week I met up with my friend who has a yorkie. Her dog was afraid of buddy. So it didn't work out all that well. Buddy wanted to play but her dog just ran away and hid or trembled in fear:/ We met up so we could socialize buddy but it seemed like we were socializing her dog instead... xD |
Buddy is adorable, and I love your photos. The one of Buddy with your cat is amazing. |
I got my first Yorkshire terrier Clyde around the same age that you got your Yorkie Buddy(15/16) ....:] Buddy is absolutely adorable! Your posting and the way you describe Buddy reminds me so much of when Clyde was a baby! Clyde is now three years old, and I recently just got a new Yorkie brother for Clyde named Dexter. It is such a joy to watch them grow up and experience life with them!! I love your posts so much! Buddy is super cute =) |
