| Baby Bay here is Bay. her previous owner shaved her which I did NOT appreciate. how long do you think it would take for her to grow out? I am desperately wanting to put bows in her hair. What color do you think she will be? do you think her ears are "permanently floppy"? I took her to a groomer today to shave some hair off her ears, she was too wiggly so she couldnt do it, but she told me that they may stay like that! |

| It's very hard to predict anything at that age... ears could stand, color can change (although my guess would be more towards silver as an adult)... What was her coat like before she was shaved?

| Puppies with thin, straggly coats tend to be silky when adults. Try the library: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pup...rt-thread.html This has descriptions of the different coats and such... it is very hard to tell from a pic.... let us know what you come up with? Hair growth depends on diet and health... generally 5-8 months but you should be able to clip a bow in her hair soon...

| She's a cutie! Her ears could still come up... She's still very young. It would probably take her about 3-4 months to grow her hair back. Congrats, she's a cutie!

| Her previous owner probably shaved her because her coat is thicker than most Yorkies. While not abnormal, it gets thick. Plus, shaving is WAY, WAY easier to maintain. My little guy has a long thin coat and would not look good shaved because he doesn't have that thick hair.
