| my girls were jealous of Jada... Jada (jadabug) always has an awesome beautiful braid. I sometimes braid Joli's hair, and after seeing a new picture of Jada's braid Joli wanted me to braid hers to show it off. And Somi with her teeny tiny top knot wanted me to braid hers too. [I promise it was them not me] [and I forgot to take Joli's muzzle off before I took the picture, she has a slightly problem with being mean to her little sister.] And Joli doesn't like to let her bangs stay up. But they are finally ALMOST long enough that they will stay up much easier. And Somi likes to play opossum when I am doing her hair.... but mostly I realized how few pictures I have shared of them here given I take SOOO many everyday.

Max Main's Mamma Donating YT Member | Joli and Somi know what true fashion is and they definitely look adorable with their little braids. Jada is a trend setter and a beautiful girl...that is for sure!!! I would totally do it to Max but he wont let me.

YT 1000 Club Member | Well thank goodness Romeo is a boy or he'd probably have me doing likewise. Joli and Somi are beautiful and true ladies when it comes to fashion-sense!

| Thanks for the complements everyone! I am a little partial, but I do think my girls are very beautiful too. Yorkies are the best in general.

[When she was shaved she was fairly matted (a couple of especially busy weeks put her brushing time to a minimum, which has NOT happened again), and I told the guy to leave her face and especially top knot. Then he called me when he was half way through and said she would look weird with it left....so I timidly said I guess...when I went to get her I totally did NOT recognize her. So now if she goes somewhere I make sure they understand to NOT cut any of her top knot, and now I usually do all the grooming myself anyways. And she wasn't even THAT tangled, really just in her armpits and neck, so the shaving was not needed. It was the last time we went to that place.....] Now I feel the need to show her drastic timeline... Before she had her hair cut off...this was actually quite a bit before, if I remember correctly this was in the spring and she got her hair cut in the fall. But it was like this except a good 5-6 months longer. can't find a closer picture right now. And AFTER!! by bald I mean BALD! [And it was around halloween. which those pj's fit her when she had hair and then when she was shaved they wouldn't stay on at all] And I will ALWAYS remember this time that I did her hair. It was the very first time that I could put her hair up after she had been shaved. And I had a full length wall sliding mirror door to my closet. Soon as I finished putting it up [which took lots of time since I was out of practice] she ran and looked at herself, ran back to me, ran back to the mirror and repeat. She was SOO excited and proud of herself. Oh and speaking of the mirror, after she was shaved she spent a good hour that night freaked out and angry with no consoling what-so-ever helping about the dog in the mirror she did NOT recognize. I felt so bad for her. I think I have the best version of puppy coat vs adult coat. I shaved off the black and it never came back [i tend to ramble...sorry. hope you enjoyed Joli's little hair timeline with her mommy's rant]

| Hehe your girls are so cute. I think yorkie & maltese are a good pairing. My girls get at each others throats sometimes too but for the most part they play well together. Good job on the braids, I'm waiting for Daisy's topknot to grow before I can do any sort of braiding. Tessa's coat is very thin and fine that we get away with just a clip at home and a topknot for outings. Thanks for sharing! |

I've tried clips before, but she gets them out before I even set the comb down.
