Ahhhh,just had a bath!!!!

Gabby looks so pretty after her bath and her coat is very shinny. The majority of all my dogs have been bathed in the shower at the same time I shower, even when I had two they both were done at the same time. I even brush their teeth in there. I'm not sure what type of shower you have, I have a walk in one with a glass door and one of the shower heads has a long hose, it's secure so they can't get out. I have a routine, I put her on one of the benches on a dry face cloth, then I wash my hair and put conditioner on it, then I shampoo Lola twice, then she gets creme rinse, then I wash myself, then I brush her teeth, then we both rinse off. I towel dry myself, then squeeze out Lola's paws and hair then she gets wrapped in a towel. This saves my back from bending over a tub and keeps the mess down if I was to do it in a sink. Sometimes my husband takes his turn with Lola in the shower, but I have to fight with him to shampoo her twice. We have yet to shower together with Lola

Thanks Laura118......Gabby's coat looks crazy now she lays on our rug and kind of does this little side winder thingy...She's goofy!!!

What kind of shampoo and creme rinse do u use? How did your yorkie party turn out?

I found that placing a kitchen towel on the bottom of the sink and on the edge they like to put their front paws on, helps my lils feel a bit more on solid ground while I bathe them

Thanks MamaZiggy (: Whenever Heide gets Gabby dressed we do not worry about the way her coat looks with clothes on. Heide will make sure she does her top knot though. Heide and I brush Gabby at least twice a day so we really never had any issues with matting

yes unfortunately they can take a long time, LOL that's why I never shower her on a day I shave my legs, if that was the case I would have to pack us lunch as well But I think it still takes less time to do each separately. I pretty much use what I use Pantene or Infusiam or Nexus, but I have been thinking about trying the Yorkie Splash and shine, or whatever it is called.

The party was great, one of these days I will get around to posting the pictures, but for me posting pictures is such a chore since it takes me so long to resize each one.

I am glad that your party went well.Looking forward to seeing the pics of your party. I feel it's a chore whenever I have to resize also.What program do you use to resize? Have you read the how to guide on this site? If not,just click on the how to guide and scroll down to how to take pics on YT and I think the first link will take u to a page to download the program IrFanView once u download this program u can go back and click on the second link on the how to take pics page and this will take u to the tutorial on how to resize your pics

Thank you.Gabby had dry skin on her rump a few months back so Heide was using a shampoo from our vet called Allergroom. I hope I am right on where she got this shampoo from.For the conditioner Heide will use John Paul.
