Bottom line i want my tuli to be a mother. I dont care about the betterment of the breed when it come to her, just because she isnt tiny like other dogs does not mean that she doesnt deserve to reproduce. I know that alot of dogs sre homeless and end up dead but i want to keep the pups so they will have a home and they will be loved by my entire family and will be well taken care of. |
Genetic testing and studying previous generations in your girl's background. |

I purchased her from a shady store. Im working in finding out her true lineage now, i have never met her parents, but i have her so called " paperwork" . Im not sure if it is falsified or not, but the vet told me that she is a perfect image of health and she should make a great dam |

Thank you, for your support. She actually is with Momo her hopefully soon to be mate right now, she stopped bleeding on tuesday, but for some reason he isnt interested in her yet, she is doing everything in her power to get his attention but he looks annoyed. And yes he is a perfect image of health and the most well behaved yorkshire i have ever met |
You may want to try to find a breeder/mentor in your area that could educate you and help you answer any questions you have about what is best for your girl if you go forward with breeding her. Some people on here just dont understand that all breeders had to start somewhere, you are not just born a breeder. Most members on YT just want to be certain that the animals health and wellbeing are being put first. Than there are some who just want to cause trouble. There is a lot of great advise in other simular threads about breeding and whelping that you can also look up. Good LUck! |
That is a great i dea. Thank you i will look for a breeder in my area today, im sure that they will be able to tell me everythin that i need to know, because its easy to read what to do but to accualy do it is a completly different story, again thank you, and i think that i am glad to be a member of the yorkie talk community |
Hello and welcome to Yorkie Talk, I'm glad that you are going to get help from a vet with the breeding process..I wish the best for your babies... |
Welcome to YT:) I see you've already gotten some good advice and was just wondering something. In one of your posts, you said you wanted a boy puppy. What happens if she has all girls (it does happen)? Would you then breed her again, trying for that boy? For what it really costs to raise a healthy litter, you could buy a very nice quality boy puppy from a reputable breeder. I bought my Luna from a pet store and she's from a puppymill. There's a website where they'll trace your puppy and tell you where they came from. PetShopPuppies.com, they found the mill where my baby had her rough start. She's got LP, seriously jacked up teeth, and has always been delicate. Please think before you do this:love: |
Your dog would be very fine not being a mother and if you really love her don't take the chance of her dying and just go get a boy puppy from a good breeder. If you cant afford a puppy from a good breeder then you cannot afford to breed your female! |
