| Adult blue yorkie Does anyone have any pictures of adult blue born yorkies. I posted a long time ago thinking maybe my dog is one. I adopted him and was told that his owner got him from a yorkie breeder in NYC. He has hair only on top of his head and his belly, his back is only peach fuzz. Just curious what adult blue born looked like if any survived into adulthood. Thanks |

| Hi there...I do have a blue born that will be one next week!! Luckily for us, he is one of the lucky ones who hasn't lost any hair (yet)....He is white and has blue/green eyes.... Here is a pic of our little man. He does have a low immune system and we have to be very careful with him (taking him places and such).... Would love to see pics of your baby as well!!

| I actually just went and looked at your old post with a pic of your baby...he sure is a cutie!! He could be a blue, but honestly he doesn't look like the ones I have seen...(and trust me, after Mack was born I went internet crazy researching!!) If he is a blue, he is one very lucky little man to have lived so long!! I wish him many, many more happy years and pray Mack can be as lucky!!!

| Are their noses blue/grey like the pic of Mack ? or are they the normal black noses ? if they were truly Blue Born then this breeder is despicable as she/he should know better then to breed Blue Born dogs. If this is true then if I were you I would call that breeder & give them a piece of my mind. From the colors you describe though, it does not sound like they are Blue Born. |

| Yes but I am sure she was talking about the normal blue coat & not Blue Born as that is a genetic defect with lots of health issues & often the pups don't live long. Are your pups noses Blue like Mack or are they black ? |

| Good deal then you learned something very important today that you can pass on to others. Breeders often refer to the colors as Black,Blue & Silver but they are all born black but a Blue Born is born Blue or Grey. So your pups are safe. |
