Oh he is gorgeous! I did the same when i cut my baby the first time! I only wanted to neaten him up but I ended up chopping more off to make it even and next thing you know, he's lost half his fur! But he looks lovely! You did a brill job!

You did well! I was wondering when their first grooming should take place. I know Charlie's nails are getting long/sharp. Bubba is cute. That's so cool he was patient and let you "work" on him.

I started with Bubba about a week after I brought him home (11-12 weeks). I had posted a thread on here about him having a hard time staying up on the hardwood floors, someone suggested checking the hair between his pads...Oh my was it long. I waited for his nap and started trimming with ball tip scissors, I also trimmed his underbelly it was long and would sometimes get wet with piddle.

As far as nails, I personally have not done any of my dogs myself, I'm a bit afraid but would love some tips and advice for doing so.
