| why does my pup look so diff. in diff. pics? lol I'm looking for another puppy and after talking to a couple of breeder friends of ZoE's breeder, it seems like I've not conveying what it is I'm looking for...although I think I'm being pretty clear. I tell them I want a 5-6lb traditional yorkie that looks like a yorkie, with erect ears, a terrier (not babydoll) face, and a silky coat in blue & gold or black & tan but not pale silver/gold. (what's not clear about that?) Anyway, after talking with one of them I summed it up by saying that what I actually want is another ZoE So, she asked me to email her a few photos of ZoE as a young puppy & then how she is now. Well, now I've stared at them so long trying to figure out what about her features it is that I like, that now I'm thinking she doesn't even look like the same dog from pic to pic (but she is cos I took them all myself..lol) Is is just me? Can you see the progression? If you were a breeder would it make it clear to you what I'm looking for? Or do you think I should send pics of what I don't like too? I'm now getting worried that going to look a puppies in person this week, I still won't be able to pick one out that will end up looking most like her. Any advice? Help! Here's ZoE's pics at 7 weeks, 8 weeks, 11 weeks and today at 11 months

| Wow. I don't blame you. I couldn't pick from a pup and know what that pup would look like as an adult. I got Sidney from the same breeder as Gidget. Similar circumstance to you. Breeder had little Sidney and wondered if we were interested bc she is always nervous about placing tinies (3.9 lb). If you look in my albums, the girls look very different. They are from the same father, different mothers. I wish you luck in your search. Hopefully someone will be able to help you know how to identify what you are looking for.

i can clearly understand what you meant in your description. I have seen puppies from the same litter that had different features like you mentioned, one more of they call the "baby faced" and the more terrier looks. Aren't they all adorable? I believe if you go visit and fall in love with a particular puppy you will madly love it whatever way it turns out as an adult. But you are going to do the very thing that i find most important: go look with your own eyes and hands ! Have fun !

| Yes. ZoE's breeder actually called me the other week to see how she was doing. ZoE's mom won't be having any more puppies. What makes is worse for me is that I didn't even pick ZoE out, my kids were the ones that went searching for a puppy as a gift for me, after they were both away at university on the other side of the state and I was an empty-nester.... so I don't have that memory of seeing her compared to her siblings. The first time I saw ZoE in person was the day we picked her up to bring her home. They did such a good job the first time around...maybe I just need my kids to find me another
