Zoey is now home and after a quick pit stop to the backyard (She successfully did #1 and #2), romped with my Cavalier Spaniel (or should I say harassed the dog), raised hell about being crated, and having a nice warm puppy bath, she is now sleep peacefully in her crate. Now I am tired! I'm glad she is here! Here are a couple of pics of her. One is of her freshly bathed and dried and the other is with my son. She is a yorkie mix...

Thank you! I have to really watch him with her. He is use to playing so rough with our KC Cavie, that he doesnt realize how delicate she is! I've never had a puppy this small and hypoglycemia is not far from my mind. She is resting now, but how do I know if she is resting or becoming hypoglycemic? Im so paranoid!

One easy way to check is to lift up her lip and see if her gums are moist and pink. That means she's hydrated and her sugar is good!

If her gums start to get pale, then that's when you know her sugar is starting to go low.

She, as well as your son, are adorable. Congratulations!

Thank you! She's up now with my daughter. No hypoglycemia yet! Took her outside to do her business and she did once again! Praying for easy housebreaking....

Do you have nutrical on hand? It wouldn't hurt to give her some if you are concerned about hypoglycimic problems. You can buy it at Petsmart.

He just turned 3 today! He is the youngest of the human babies. He is surely a bright light in my stressful life!

I dont know what exactly what my son was looking at, but I am pretty sure Zoey was looking at him and thinking, "What are you?"....LOL
