I didn't know until we got home and also started googling why they were all scared. Unfortunately "they consider dogs unclean and they run to prevent an unsanitary state." Poor Madison was only trying to be friendly and they weren't very nice.

@ baby teddy, madison did ok. she took her first train ride yesterday and was nervous. her assignment for the week in puppy kindergarten is to go to 7 new places. we still have a bit more of discovering to do!

I know everyone says that the harness came from Petco, but our Petco in the Chicagoland suburbs doesn't have it and never did. Does anyone else know who else might carry it?

Awe....she is just darling. She didn't look one bit intimidated, she was busy checking it all out. Love all the pictures, especially the last one.

look how cute she is... Polo's 1st walk... well he stood there and shook... I had to pick him up and carry him on HIS walk...I also love the harness..

Aww- I remember Chloe's first subway ride- she didn't make a peep, but I could see and feel the entire bag shaking! She got over it in no time and traveled the city very well- she had no choice, we lived on west end and her vet was on York, ha! Enjoy your new places Madison

I remember the first walk like it was yesterday and my little girl is three years old now. I am happy that you were able to capture it in pictures. Your puppy is most precious!

Thanks everyone, it's nice to be able to come on YT and hear so many nice things! I'm realizing a lot of people aren't too friendly with puppies on our walks.
