Thank you for all of your advice and pictures. My 9 year old daughter wants to keep the top knot but I'd love to see Mabel without it. Hair always grows back... I'm not very good at top knots and my daughter has a real knack for it, but she's been occupied with other things - I'll give her another week to see if she keeps doing her hair - if not, I'll cut it off and see how things turn out. Here's one of my favourite pictures of Mabel with her top knot.

I love the topknots; so cute and I have to admit I enjoy the bows.

I love top knots and bows on girls and boys! Bella is never without one, she can't see a thing her hair has gotten so long on her head. Jett just started wearing one, now that his hair is growing longer.
