| awh i love everyone's post & pictures ! and trust me i never thought i would be able to get a bow in pyper's hair but i usually give her a chew toy or something to distract her from me putting the bow in her hair for it to work - other wise shes flailing around lol - and we dont always dress her - my boyfriend thinks its mean! lol but shes so tiny when she goes for walks i have to put the sweater on because she just shakes if its rly windy out |

| Yes! Mine is a boy and sometimes he even wears pigtails with TWO bows!! Hehe. I can't help it I just love topknots. I think paddy might have been hoping for a sister with long hair so he could have a break but he got a short haired chi instead.

| I can't believe it but Paddy is 4!! His hair was really really short from around 9months because he had an injury and they shaved his leg so I had the rest of him shaved to even it out lol. It took a year and a half to get that long after that. Now his head hair is still that length but the rest of his body is growing out from a summer cut. I miss his long coat. :/ It didn't seem to make him any cooler shaving it so I don't know if I'll do it again. We'll just go swimming more instead.

ha funny you should say he's too tiny. He often towers over other super tiny yorkies even though he is within standard size. He's around 6.5-7lbs. Though he went up a bit during our first winter in chicago. The first time paddy went swimming was actually at a dog meet-up in nyc at a daycare where they had an indoor heated pool. (fancy i know lol) They don't love swimming, especially if its cold so it was funny when they had them race because you could tell they were motivated to get OUT of the pool. Then I bought him a kiddie pool to keep him cool in the summer and he figured out that if he sat in it he felt good. So he started trying to sit in every puddle he found in the dog park in the summer. Then we moved here and took him in the dog beach and he learned to fetch toys out of lake michigan! He won't just go in but if I am in there with his toy he will swim a little bit out to get it. But when it gets too deep he turns around. Its sooooo cute. I have to stop forgetting to bring my camera on all our outings. I think he still doesn't really love swimming but he is so ball obsessed that he will overcome ANY obstacle to get to it. ugh..can I ever give a short answer lol. Good luck with your pup!

hehe really well from pics it looks like he is tiny - i just keep asking everyone i am just so anxious to know how big pyper is going to get. i've looked at the charts and stuff but you can just never know. shes about 2.5 right now and almost 3.5 months. (a ball of energy though! we call her hyper pyper hahah) cool! a heated pool would be a great way to start - im in canada though so i dont know if there are any dog meets like that - although it would be really cool, i would love for her to get in the pool - when we gave her her first bath at about 8 wks, i held her up just above the water and she started padelling it was way to cute | |
