Hi from El Paso, TX I figured to use this thread to introduce ourselves and share a picture of Blue Sake. My best friend noticed that I was favoring "Nick". I was not aware of it but he has the cutest face & I love his coat color. Last Saturday, she asked me if I wanted to have Nick. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I thought about it carefully & I agreed to welcome Nick to the family. I have him since Sunday & he's already my shadow! I renamed him to Blue Sake (my niece likes Sake--Japanese wine--please don't ask why Japanese wine lol). He responds to "Blue" pretty well. I have other three dogs: Milly (Mini Poodle), Pearl (Bichon Frise mix) & Beau (Poodle/Terrier mix). Pearl & Beau were abandoned by their owners. Milly was a surprise from my mom's dog (at that time we didn't know better to spay Milly's mother) She's going to be 15 years old in August. Sadly, she has cancer. Such a sweet moxie. Blue seems to like Beau better than Pearl. Maybe because Pearl blitzes so fast that both boys could not keep up with her. <vbg> My name is Lesley. My family & friends call me Les as a nickname. So call me whatever you prefer. Looking forward to reading your posts! -->"Here's Blue Sake!"

for the welcome! Hollyandmommy, WOW! You are close to Tierra Cadena area, yes? That is where I usually am at to visit my sister. the area is growing rapidly. I walked with my dogs earlier. Pearl likes to be in front. It is my fault for allowing her to walk in front of me. Fortunately, Blue & Beau walk by my side. Here's the picture of the boys walking together. I need to buy a "V" leash for them. It's google time for me to look for it online. I have one but it's for big dogs.

| Welcome Your babies are cute I wouldn't recommend the "v" leash, due to the size difference in the dogs. The littler one could get hurt very badly from being tugged around by the bigger doggy.

Hi, my cable modem was out for a while & now it's up and running. Lunasmomma, Beau and Blue walked together nicely. I do understand the concern of the little dog's safety. Blue just got neutered & Beau is walking alone & he seems to enjoy it.

Thank you! When he was here, he was pretty quiet and seemed to be somewhat homesick. I decided to let my best friend's vet to neuter him because my vet wanted to charge me $250 in total of almost $500 (for blood work, iv etc) because he had cryptorchidism. She agreed & took him home for a week. A week seems like a month. When he came home, he was a different dog, he was not homesick anymore and is more playful than before. I'm glad I sent him to his former home for him to get over his homesickness. Yorkie was never my favorite breed until Blue came along!
