| Home grooming. Since no one looks at posts @ 3a.m. i'll re-post it. =] It went really well. I used scissors all over b/c the razor sounds scares her. Here is a before and after pic. I think i did pretty well considering it was my first time doing this. I have a groomer that never listened to me and i saved myself $35. I'm happy with the results. =] Here is the before picture and the afters are in the attached files below. http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/8830/006aaa.jpg

| Ella looks adorable. Great job with the scissors on her body-- that is really tough to do, especially the first time. Grooming at home is very rewarding. |

| I think she came out great! I am going to give mine a whirl. LOL So the reason I can't seem to keep up with the mats is because it's baby fur! YIKES! So glad I read your post! *SMILE* Léonie who is owned by Juliette |

| I'm hoping once Precious loses her puppy fir she won't matte up as much. Not sure when that typically happens but I'm looking forward to the day

| Thanks everyone for the nice comments. =] Yeah, Ella used to get matted alot when she was a pup. We got her a short cut and the tangles stayed away for while. I have been letting her hair grow out for the past 8 months now and it got so bad i had to cut her hair off. She was getting very tangled even if i would brush her everyday. Now i know she isn't the long hair kind. Who cares though, i find her cuter when the hair is short.

| Great job!I do my own dogs as well! I actually never clipped them down though but now with 3 in full coats it's really hard to maintain so I bought clippers last week and I'm trying to work up the nerve to clip Libby down. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | It looks great! I have done my own grooming for so long and I like them being in a safer environment! I just don't like what I see in some of the grooming salons.

| Great job! I almost did that to Paddy last night but I was too nervous to use only scissors since I don't have clippers. Now I'm thinking I will try it next time rather than leave him at the groomers. Not having a good time waiting haha.

| I actually clipped Taz's hair around his eyes, you've inspired me to try the body!
