Who says pitbulls and yorkies can't be friends?

That picture is adorable!! Its not that they cant be friends its just that the size difference a Yorkie can be hurt by a pitt or any bigger dog from just playing. I have a pitt too. and he loves the Yorkies, but we dont leave them alone together or feed them together. I have a picture of my pitt licking kissing on a kitten their both laying on the couch too just like that.

I would love to see that pictures. I know that it is the size difference that can be trouble, and they never play without supervision (Lilo cannot earn being left out of her crate when we are gone, so they are never alone). I just figured we hear all these awful stories about pitts, so i thought i would share a "positive" picture...

We often worry about our Yorkie hurting the 125 Pound Cane Corso. The Corso knows to leavbe her alone....but she keeps him in his place.

My aunt has a Pit, almost 9 years old now I think, and Jackson actually got along really well with him. Darn it -- I thought I had more pics, this is the only one I can find!

Lol -- I see way more Yorkies not behaving than Pit Bulls and I go to the dog park 1-3x per week. 9 times out of 10, a Yorkie is causing trouble. (Big dogs and small dogs are separated, but you can oversee all the dogs even in the big park, and there's been a few little yorkies who just constantly go over and try to egg the big dogs on, and most pittie's I've seen just stand there and stare)

Just imagine if the Yorkie was a 100-130 pound animal! They are tough little dogs....Ours does not back down to anyone....which is why we are always keeping a close eye on her. So glad our big dog loves here, and avoids her when he walks. Funny to see them sleeping together on his bed. She actually makes him move.

Your Corso is beautiful! I LOVE his colors. They are such cool dogs. I saw one the other day in Petsmart (along with 3 Great Danes! -- I don't even think Jackson knew they were dogs, ha! He went to sniff their legs and looked up like what are you?)

Thank you. He is pushing 10 1/2 years old, and still looks great, just gray, but then again, so am I. When he was younger, he was a crowd stopper. He still is. It takes us forever in Petsmart, or when we are out as everyone has a ton of questions to ask about him. Doubt I will ever find another one like he is.
