1lb 7oz would be 23 oz, so looks like he'd be on track by the chart to be 5 lbs as an adult. Not all babies grow like the chart says (some stay smaller and some get bigger), but it's a fun "guide".

[Side note: I know 2 people who have runts....their Yorkies aren't quite 2 lbs, and they're both 3 yrs old. That means that at 6 wks they were probably ~10 oz!!! That's less than half the size of Dexter, can you imagine?!! I certainly can't! They must have been soooo teeny! I think it takes a very special person to successfully raise and care for the teeny weenies!]

Can't wait to see more of cute little Dexter!! We'll certainly enjoy watching him grow up!
