Well, I do have Breese who's 3.7 pounds and she'll be 5 years old in February. She's just a tiny little thing and thought she would be between 5 -7 pounds when full grown. Just to let you know.. I'm still waiting.

All your babies are cute but she does take the cake on cuteness...

milu is a small yorkie as well. i waited till she was about 8 months to spay her. she weighed 2.6 lbs at 8 months. she did really well after the surgery. i would say the most important thing is work with a vet you trust, preferably a vet who knows how to work with smaller dogs. They need to make sure the yorkie's body temp. doesn't drop during the spay surgery. (operate on a heating surface that keeps the yorkie warm) and make sure you ask about the anesthesia protocol. also, hopefully they use small tubes for intubating the dog.

Thank you so much for the info. I've been using my vet now for 14 years, so I completely trust him. He did mention the same, that the most important thing is to keep her warm and to get her up and around and eating so she is not going too long without food. He said she would be the first one done in the morning and home by noon. You Milu is adorable. I think Brooke will have very similiar coloring. Thanks again. Elaine
