Ok- gave it a go tonight- i took over 200 pictures.. lol.. and this is what I came out with..

- i HAD to have the flash off or Layla would blink- so I put it on aperture priority with the flash down, on a tripod, long shutter speed and in ISO of 1800 (high.. i know but the pictures will be small) trying to get her to stay PERFECTLY still was SO hard- but we got a few.

They are still a bit blurry but i'm hoping to a) try again and b) people won't be picky

Oh my God, those came out SO good! Layla is soooo cute, you couldn't have a better model. OK, I need to try this out with my camera! Now I wanna go get the Christmas tree up, LOL.
