Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Jack is a cover boy for calendar An Alaska Dog publication asked its readers to vote on their favorite pictures of the year for inclusion in a calendar, and look who was voted No. 1! Little-man Jack, RIP, hanging out with his Samoyed buddy Chip at a dog meetup a couple years ago. He's featured on the cover and the month of December. Who would have thought a dog featured in the middle of an Alaska winter would be a Yorkie! I was quite surprised because Alaskans don't exactly embrace little dogs. They like big dogs and fast dogs and strong dogs. Inside the calendar are a bunch of fantastic pictures of field dogs swimming, hunting ... etc. Nice to see his spirit still lives.

| How wonderful that the Alaskans are more soft hearted than you realized, not unlike yourself. I'm so glad he has the recognition he so deserves. He was a very special little guy for sure. We all felt like he was part of our family too. R.I.P. sweetheart. Your loved and missed.

| Ahhhh ... Mike, this is so strange! Just yesterday I was looking at the videos of little Jillian and, naturally, looking at Eddie & Rusty. I went over to Dogster looking at your "pack" and was thinking of little Jack, as I often do. It was so bittersweet looking back at his happy little life after you brought him into your family. I think it's wonderful that they selected Jack as their cover boy!! I will always miss him too.
