I can't believe I did this BUT...I did

I gave Indy his first haircut today!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVED his long hair...but its so much work to keep up and i feel bad for him every time we sit down for the long brush out...soooooo...today I took some BEFORE pictures and then..........

I gave him his new cut!!!!!

You know what? He seems so hyper and happy now! he's been running around like crazy ever since.. LOL He looks so little now. And he was very short bodied (cobby) before but now its really noticeable!

I had to take the before pics so I could stare at his pretty hair

well done..you did a good job. I bet he loves running round without his hair getting in the way , even though it was beautiful hair! If you decide you dont like it so short, you can let it grow a bit longer. All the time you save on grooming can now be playtime instead.

He is really naked there!!!

I have had Toby for 3 1/2 years and have not cut his hair except for around the lower edge and his feet............But I do brush daily.........miss a day and a matt appears. That's the key to keeping a full coat....DAILY BRUSHING.

I am glad he still has his cutie pie face but I have to be honest, I don't like the short short naked look. Sorry

I love it

I prefer the shorter hair. They just seem so much happier! Jackson would never stand for me brushing his hair every day, lol.

Well being a breeder I am VERY BUSY taking care of babies and my adults. I DO BRUSH!!!!! That wasn't the point. The point was, he is so much happier now without the long hair and can fit in his clothes too

I'm happy, he's happy AND HE'S STILL CUTE.....and I have more time to spend with them

(most important) not putting him thru the long session of brushings. He hates it and I can't blame him. Now I'm off to do my DAILY BRUSHING.

LOL yes he is but it will grow back...and fast. his coat is nice and grows fast!

Thank you! He looks so little to me now lol. I will let it grow back some and possibly even grow it out again at some point but right now he loves his new style! He's a different boy for sure! All this energy ! I hope I can keep up with him!

Thanks! I like both long and short and I know I'm going to miss his gorgeous coat, but wow...is he happy about this haircut!!!
