| I am loving these pics of the little ones! Yours are both gorgeous but the little girl on the left (your right) is really a cutie with that tiny face I love! (I am assuming she is a girl because of the pink topknot holder -- hope I am not wrong). Beautiful!

| Sushi is 3lbs. She pretty much stopped growing not long after the 6 month mark, maybe a few oz's. Now she is 21 months old, still 3lbs, very active and healthy. But i have to admit she is super fragile and I am constantly worried about her all the time. The only major health issue was the extra teeth, which seems to be very common among little dogs. My maltese had the same problem too. As far as fixing him goes, please make sure the vet that does it is familiar with operating on teacups. It's VERY impostant what they use to put them under, and what kinds of tubes they use to prevent collapsed trachea. Good luck with the health issues. Will keep your little one in my thoughts Sending belly rubs to him.

| Senior Yorkie Talker | My girls are both adults and very tiny. Hannah is 7 yo and weighs around 4lbs and CutiePie is 4yo and she only weighs 2.5 lbs. They were both this tiny when I got them. Very fortunate not to have any health issues! Here are pics, good luck to you! (attached pics - hope they come thru).

| Hi. My angel hasn't been wieghed since her last shots but she was just under 2 lbs then. She is full grown at a year and 2 months and isn't any bigger, really! LOL We think she is about 2.5 or a little under maybe. I'm not sure how to post pics in this post but check out my profile. She is too cute and tiny! My avatar pic is her last cut for the summer. She is a skinny minnie in it but usually has longer hair.

| Our stud is 2.5lbs fully grown. He hasn't had any problems at all... well except having to use a thick phonebook to reach my 5lb female . We wouldn't give him up for the world. He is pretty fearless. |

| I have a 2.5 pound girl that I was given with the warning "Don't get too attached to her." She had slightly elevated kidney values and an open fontanelle (soft spot). She is now nine years old and doing wonderfully. Her main problem has been periodontal disease. Even with daily brushing she required two very expensive surgeries, the second one leaving her with only her canines. The vet said it is common in dogs this small even with the brushing. I would advise getting a very good vet and being very careful about who does any surgery on your baby. Mine was done at the University of Minnesota and had all of the latest anesthesia protocols and pre-surgery labs. Mine of course is a higher anesthesia risk because of her open fontanelle which the vets there said is also very common in tiny dogs. Check for that before any surgeries. Also plan on dedicating a lot of time and research into tiny dog health issues. As far as physical changes, mine only had her coat lighten over time and although I know each is different, mine quit growing at 4 months. Her weight has improved a lot as has her appetite since I put her on Nature's Recipe for toy dogs, the only kibble I found that is soft enough and small enough. (without teeth, hers has to be crushed of course) Good Luck to you! They are so worth it! |

| Lexie has been 2.6 lbs for a while, just recently at 10 months of age she reached the 3lb. mark. She has not been spayed yet nor has come in heat, phew. She has some baby teeth that need to be removed, so I will have to get it done but not without fear

| Agnes is 11 months old and 2.5 pounds. She is all legs ![]() . She has actually been much healthier than Ralphie, and he is 7.2 pounds. I still worry about her all the time though. I have been very lucky with her, she is such a little piggy so I have never had to worry about her not eating enough that's for sure ! (She is with her Daddy in the 2nd pic ![]() )

| YorkieTalk Newbie! | My little Lola was born 2/13/09 and currently weighs 2.15. She doesn't have any health problems and she has a healthy appetite. She had two rows of teeth but they gradually fell out. |
