| We're new, Sweetie & Me Hi, Sweetie and I are glad to be part of this group . I like that there is a place to find info. about yorkie. I am a first time mom to a lovalbe girl yorkie. I have always had dogs but not one this small. Putting my Neapolitan Mastiff down last Nov. because she was over 12yrs and failing. I had thought of getting a small dog (yorkie)that can go anywhere with me,carried around easily, and with a personality. I was thinking of wait a bit but this cute Yorkie fall right into my lap . I love her toobits.

| Hi and Welcome to you and Sweetie. I am sorry for your loss of your Mastiff and I am sure his memories will remain close to your heart. Yorkie's are addicting so watch out, before you know it you will have to buy a bigger purse to carry them all in. We love pictures here, so don't forget to post pictures of Sweetie.

| Welcome to the neighborhood Jane and Sweetie! There is something unique about Yorkie owners . . . . they are all as kind as their babies!! You'll love hanging out here. Besides the company, this place has great wealth in the information provided. Carter is 7 1/2 months old and a wonderful 3.1# of love and joyfulness!

| My yorkshire mix Benji I ran across this site while checking out the yorkshire mixes...I'm trying to figure out what my Benji is a mix of....thinking he may be part poodle, along with the yorkshire (has the tan/black coloring of the yorkshire), but he has wavy hair...How do I get a pic of him attached? | Looks more yorkie than not, ears not up, but neither one of my purebred yorkies have ears that are erect. Maybe some poodle but not a whole lot in my opinion. Looks very much like my first yorkie, Whitby whose mom was a champion, but his ears were erect. |

| Benji My sister has a full-blooded yorkshire...& there's a lot of difference between him & Benji...Benji does have the tan & black coat colors, but it's too wavy...He was a 'found' dog....I think he must have gotten away from his owners (he likes to wander)...He was already 'fixed' & house-broken...I've had him now for a year & half (he's a young dog). He is spoiled rotten! He's a lap-dog; sleeps on the foot of my bed, & will lay close to your feet all other times. But, he loves to be outside in nice weather & has a couple of lab mixes here to keep him company in the yard. My aged mom fell in love with him at first site (this is the kind of dog she needs to keep her company since she's house-bound). Told her I'd keep any eye out for another Benji. |

| I'd have to agree - there is definately Yorkie in there - maybe a little poodle because of the wavy fur - but what a bundle of love in any case I have a Yorkie/Cairn terrier mix (Cairn is like Toto from Wizard of Oz) -- I can see the Yorkie in her face, but the coloring and body is more Cairn I love every bit though! Welcome - hope you stick around and chit chat with us!

| blt52, I can't see Benji's tail very well. He kinda reminds me of a Shorkie, a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix. He's very cute!! |
